There are three Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC) in Manchester:
- Reliance Street, North Manchester Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)
- Sandfold Lane Levenshulme Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)
- Longley Lane, South Manchester Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)

For the majority of properties in Manchester, recycling is collected fortnightly with different containers collected each week (but all collections are on the same day of the week). Some households have different types of containers or communal recycling to help you recycle more easily from your property.
Please put your recycling container out by 7am on the day of collection at your designated collection point.
