Before You Visit

We are committed to providing a high level of service for customers of our Recycling Centres. These facilities are for household waste only and do not accept trade or commercial waste under any circumstances.

Our centres are designed to make recycling easy, by following these few simple steps before you leave home it will make your vist even easier:

  • Segregate your recyclable items, this will make unloading your vehicle quicker.
  • Centre staff are available to assist, but If you are bringing heavy or awkward sized items, please consider bringing along someone to help you.
  • Our centres are predominately designed for vehicle access, and operate a height barrier set at two metres. For household customers with vehicles above this height recycling and disposal facilities are made available at our larger plant facilities nearby (these have differing opening times). Proof of residence may be required.
  • Pedestrian access can be granted but customers will be advised that this is at their own risk, and are expected to observe all site rules including segregating recycling and waste into the correct containers. In addition site users intending to park outside the facilities must obey all road regulations and laws.
  • Many items brought to our recycling centres could be re-used. Please consider offering these to someone else via the re-use schemes at the centres or any of the re-use networks.

Your Feedback

" The changes to our local Recycling Centre have been an absolute joy and a success. It is such a change from what you could before genuinely refer to as a 'tip' (which we did). It is now a pleasure to visit and the staff are helpful, pleasant and well-mannered." Guy, Marple Stockport.
