Recycle More

Origami elephant, recycle more for Greater Manchester

Recycle one more item and make a huge difference. The more we recycle the more money the council saves and the less impact we have on the environment.

In 2010 100,000 tonnes of paper and card was put in the rubbish bin instead of recycled here in Greater Manchester. That's the equivalent of 25,000 elephants!

We want to make sure that everything that can be recycled is recycled and with your help we can achieve this aim.

There are lots of items that you can recycle at home and away and you are all doing a fabulous job, see the Recycling results page for details on the recycling sucess so far.

However items do get left out of the right recycle bin that's why we have dedicated a whole page to those items so we can all do our bit.

Did you know you can recycle?

All of the products below at Home in your recycling bins or Away at your recycling centre . Just click on the image to find out where you can recycle it.
