Your Recycling Centres

You have three Recycling Centres in Salford, where you can take many household items for recycling. 

You can also dispose of your non-recyclable items and where possible they will be used for energy recovery.

(Open as usual on Bank Holidays)

Vehicle Height Restrictions

If your vehicle is over 2 metres you will not be able to access the Recycling Centre. You can still recycle and dispose of your waste via the weighbridge access at Cobden Street.

Please ensure you take some form of identity as a householder (e.g.council tax bill) as you will asked to present this at the weighbridge.

If you are using a hire vehicle please ensure you have your hire vehicle documents with you as you may be asked to produce them.

This is because the weighbridge is primarily used for trade waste which is chargeable.
