Can I use a hire vehicle?

If you are using a hire vehicle please take your hire vehicle documents with you when you visit.

If you are disposing of trade or business waste, charges will apply.  Please check the price list for information.

Entrance

Due to the height barrier you will not be able to access the Recycling Centre. Please use the weighbridge entrance where council and high-sided vehicles go. Please take your recent council tax bill, annual water bill or utility bill relating to the property where the waste is from. If you are using a hire vehicle please take your hire agreement documents.

If your vehicle is over 2 metres you won’t be able to access the recycling centre due to the height barrier so you will need to use the weighbridge entrance (where council and trade vehicles go).

Please take one of the following forms of identification with you when you visit.

  1. Current council tax bill
  2. Annual water bill
  3. Most recent utility bill (gas, electric or telephone bill only)

You will be asked to show these documents by a member of staff on arrival, as the weighbridge facility is mainly used by traders to dispose of business waste which is chargeable. Please be aware that vehicles are monitored and waste will be checked.
