Household Waste Recycling Centre

NOW OPEN

Construction is complete at the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) at Boysnope Wharf, Salford. The site has been under construction since August 2009 and was completed and open to the public on Monday 19th July 2010.

The new HWRC is a split level facility, which accommodates the needs of the surrounding area by providing, a convenient site layout; optimal traffic management to eliminate queuing off-site; and separate access for operational vehicles and private cars, to increase safety. These improvements will ensure minimal waiting times and provide a comprehensive recycling service for local residents.

 The Household Waste Recycling Centre is open at the following times: 

Summer :Sunday 28th March 2010 to Saturday 30th October 2010

8am - 8pm

Winter: Sunday 31st October 2010 to Saturday 26th March 2011

8am - 6pm
