Householders using the recycling facility at Drinkwater Park are reaping the benefits of site improvements.
The HWRC at Drinkwater Park in Prestwich has undergone a number of advancements to improve the user experience and safety of the site. The site has been extended, creating more room for residents to access containers, new and improved signage and numbering to clearly indicate where to recycle unwanted items; making recycling easier for householders. There are also new road markings to improve traffic flow, new security cameras and a new loud speaker system.
The Household Waste Recycling Centre is open at the following times:
