Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC)
The layout of the Chester road Household Waste Recycling Centre enables materials to be efficiently separated on site so that recycling levels of up to 60% can be achieved. Traffic management has been much improved through the provision of separate stopping, passing and queuing lanes which improves the traffic flow through the site, whilst also reducing queuing on to Chester Road. Operational and public vehicles will be kept separate for efficiency and safety.
