Across England, recycling rates are also on the rise – up and down the country householders are recycling more things more often resulting in an increasing recycling rate year on year.

In Greater Manchester we’re also recycling as much as anyone else within the North West. Large City conurbations like Liverpool are recycling at very similar rates to us, where as areas with larger rural spaces are recycling at slightly higher rates.
